Nothing in the world is more luxurious than visiting one of the rare, beautiful, pink sandy beaches that dot the coastlines of several countries. Pink sand beaches are so rare due to what they are made of, the sand itself is coral that has been ground down over the years, and washed up on shore, leaving it a pink hue.

Here are some the best pink sand beaches in the world.

Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda

If you are lucky enough to go on a cruise to Bermuda, you may just end up stopping in Horseshoe Bay, in fact, it is part of the Celebrity Bermuda cruise itineraries. Pink Beach, Komodo, Indonesia

Pink Sands Beach, Harbour Islands, Bahamas

When you think of traveling to the Bahamas, you likely think about their white sandy beaches, beautiful waters and amazing resorts, but the Bahamas have a hidden treasure in the Pink Sands Beach. Elafonisi Beach, Crete, Greece

This beach is rather unique as the more you explore it, the more you learn that not all parts of the beach feature the pretty, pink sand. The sand here varies in color from white, to pink and back again. What makes this destination extra special, is that the beach itself spans from the mainland to the island and back.

Crane Beach, Barbados

This beach destination is named after the large machines that help run the busy port nearby, and not after the bird. The beach itself is quiet and serene and features one of the oldest resorts in the world on its footprint. Spend a few hours visiting this piece of paradise and having a meal or a drink at the iconic hotel.
