Online news in CNN.com features the Christmas experience in the Philippines. The content states that if only there is a global competition for the most grandeur celebration of Christmas the award will be automatically awarded to the Philippines, any objections on this? Well said. We have the longest celebration of Christmas which usually starts on September 1, which officially starts the “ber” months. During this time, households were already planning for the decorations to be displayed on their houses with Christmas songs already playing every morning.

But after Halloween, you can see that all shopping malls and establishments were already setting up for their themes for the upcoming celebration. One of the most colorful places to go during this time of the year is in the Makati Business District located in Ayala.

It is the second year after they launched the Symphony of Lights and Sounds using LED lights at the Ayala Triangle, an extraordinary display of thousand blinking lights in harmony with Christmas songs which this year presents Tagalog Christmas songs such as Ang Pasko Ay Sumapit, Noche Buena among others.

The length of Ayala Avenue was also lit up with Christmas lights and large pots of poinsettias. You can also check the different buildings along the avenue with their own versions of the Belen.

You can watch the Symphony of Lights and Sounds at the Ayala Triangle every night which shows every 30minutes from 6pm to 9pm in the evening. If you can’t see it yourself, you can watch my 2 part-video below (sorry for the quality, youtube.com converted my raw file).
