After a yummy Japanese dinner at Suzu Kin, I found out from a friend that a nearby place serves Indian food.
I am pertaining to Mr. King Kebab which is just a block away which offers masala, biryani, tandoori, curry, karahi and of course, shawarma and kebab.
The staff who assisted me offered their best seller Beef Kebab with Rice but I refused since I just ate a heavy dinner at Suzu Kin. Instead, I ordered 1 pc of Beef Kebab and a Beef Shawarma Roll worth P50 each. I tried the Gulab Jamon for dessert.
The sweetness of the Gulab Jamon balances the magnificent spiciness of the Beef Kebab. Gulab Jamon tastes like leche flan with the tang of lemon zest on its syrup. I didn’t enjoy the Beef Shawarma that much but it tastes good with their sauce.
You’ll notice the touch of Indian culture inside the place with the big colorful curtains separating the two dining areas. MKK opens from 11 AM to 12 AM and also delivers for free within Makati at a minimum order of 200 but a charge of 10% is added if the area is outside the city. They also accept catering and food reservations.
