Travel planning, aside from budget, is one of the must-things I consider before every trip. It is the time you need to go over some magazines, books, and read helpful travel sites, for you to know the best things to visit and do on your destination and ensure that you won’t miss one.
For the past two years, I encountered these planners, travel planners in particular. Travel planner in a way that they were designed for travelers: a page dedicated for your bucket list for the year, destinations you plan to visit, and even a world (or Philippine) map that serves as your checklist.
One of the best travel planners in the market is the Navi: Your Life Navigator planner. I was able to use one way back in 2013 and I can say that it really made that year a great one. It helped me organize all my trips and note travel moments on my visit to 23 provinces of the country.
This 2015, it will again be my companion in visiting different provinces on my list.

The 5.6×7.9 inches planner this year is 176 full-color Smythe-sewn pages with matte leather hardcover and has an expandable back pocket. It usually starts with some tips on how to navigate through life, and a manifesto, a guiding principle in achieving goals for the year. I also love the back cover where the world map was embossed.
It will be followed by the goals, the bucket list page, pre-trip checklist, travel/special event planner, the 101 suggested things to do in 2015, and a full-page calendar per month for listing down priorities while the next pages were allotted for weekly/daily notes.
Every month features a country; its population, land area, capital, currency, language, and religion. Some countries featured are Switzerland, Thailand, Chile, New Zealand, and of course, Philippines. For each month, some of the provided grid per week contains some travel tips/guide for the featured country.
Unlike the last time I used Navi, the discount coupons, worth Php25,000, of their partners were compiled separately on a mini travel notebook enclosed in the expandable back pocket.
